"Heat!! Wake up! We've got a kingdom to save!" Staerie says.

Heat nodded his head. He stood up and retrieved his sword.  

"Ready? Man, you're quite the quick learner. Don't you think you grow up too fast?" Staerie questioned.

Heat gazed at the barrier. All the creatures from the Castle of Nighs. All piling up against the barrier. 

Heat wanted vengeance.

"It's time, Heat. Slice. Them. Up.
Staerie chanted.

All that was left was gratitude towards his lifelong friend and goal.



  •  Destroy the enemies that lie beyond the barrier to create peace from the war between the Kingdom of Staers and the Castle of Nighs.
  • Play as Heat, tasked to defend the kingdom: his lifelong home. 
  • Train with Phyze, purchase upgrades with Gaze, learn history with Orio, and upgrade yourself to become stronger with Swool! 
  • There's always a new Staer to meet in the kingdom, who are all (attemptedly) voiced by the same person, and have their own unique story for you to explore.

  • Forge new ways to play the game by utilizing 10 different skills. There are only 4 available for selection, so pick wisely.
  • Battle against 30 waves of enemies and find ways to become stronger through training.
  • Combine specific weapons, skills, and even potions to create interesting synergies. Grow stronger... as you grow stronger!
  • There's always something new to try out in the vast world of the Kingdom of Staers. 
  • Heat awaits you to control his fight to conquer the Nighs. Fight with him.


Heavily inspired by the flash game, "Swords and Souls", I have spent a year creating this project with minimal help. I thank Decent900 for art, Ford4466 for code assistance, and Krazed Kemono for music. 

The game is inspired by how my mind thinks things out. I committed most of my time to this game when I was under bad weather, which is also an attempt to create a story through a metaphoric perspective, while including humor.  

The demo(alpha build) is planned to be released on November 20th, 2025, while the beta/true release is projected to be in 2026. I do plan for this game to be my first paid game, just for a measly dollar. I only hope that this game doesn't feel like those games, where it's like "This game was free and I still want a refund".

This is one of the largest projects that I plan to regularly update and plan for events. I have always wanted to make something that was fun for you to play, and this game greatly demonstrates my commitment.
